Assistant Commissioner Ssembatya
James Kabogoza Ssembatya is the Assistant Commissioner for Children and Youth Affairs within the Ministry of Gender, Labour and Social Development.

Commissioner Mondo
Mr. Francis Kayateka Mondo is the Commissioner for Children and Youth Affairs within the Ministry of Gender, Labour, and Social Development. He has spoken out against child abuse and has been an ardent supporter of the need for more data on all of these issues.
Mr. Mondo was also involved in the 2012 Child Protection in Crisis Learning Retreat and acted as the chair of many sessions.

Superintendent Alalo
Mrs. Christine Alalo, is the Superintendent of Police for the Ugandan Police Force and is also the Acting Commissioner for the Child and Family Protection Department. She has been vocal in the need for increased attention to children, particularly in the violence they experience and are exposed to.
First Lady Janet Museveni
Mrs. Janet Museveni is the First Lady of Uganda and also is the Minister of Karamoja Affairs. Mrs. Museveni was also instrumental in creating an alternative for street children that enabled them to get off the streets of Kampala.
